Where To Buy The New iPhone SE 2
The iPhone SE 2 will start shipping and is available at certain locations on 4/24. Preorders have started on Apple since 4/17. Since Apple has closed its retail locations, the best way to get your hands on the latest iPhone will be to do a curbside pickup at Best Buy when it releases.
Since Best Buy is open during this time with the COVID-19 outbreak and no clear date on when Apple will re-open, buying through Best Buy seems like the best option to get your new iPhone the same day.
Apple will ship their pre-orders on 4/24 and with shipping delays all across the US, it's uncertain when your device will actually land. The positive though is if you have a phone to turn in when you switch, the apple credit might be worth it. For example, if you are trading in an iPhone 8 to upgrade, you can get a $170 credit if eligible. The full list of what Apple gives back in credit is here. https://www.apple.com/shop/trade-in
The pricing for the new SE 2 is below
64gb - $399
128gb - $449
256gb - $549
Best Buy is also offering a $50 credit for new devices if they are activated on the same day. This is also a solid option if you plan on selling your old device instead of trading in.
If you are looking to get your device the same day it releases and can't wait, Best Buy is your best option. But if you can wait a few days, (expect more delays with shipping) buying from Apple with a trade-in is a great way to save some money.
